Advanced Foil Systems has provided these instructions in order to help you quickly locate the documentation on the new Title 24 residential radiant barrier standards.
Step 1. Click on the "AB 970 Low-Rise Residential Alternative Calculation Method Approval Manual " link from the title 24 information page of the Advanced Foil Systems website (afs-foil.com)
Step 2. You should be viewing an Adobe version of the supplement. From here use the page up arrows and scroll to page 5.
Step 3. Click on "Radiant Barriers" and your there.
Click on the 2001 AB 970 Residential Energy Conservation Manual Supplement, from the Title 24 page, you can access the full version of the standard which explains the changes to ACM D (page 9) and the zones it effects.
